ATTC is an approved training organisation by WDA for WSQ courses. It is also a training centre approved by CAAS to conduct engineering courses for aircraft maintenance personnel in accordance with Certificate of Approval Number MTO/002.

Those who want a career switch to aviation industry and newly recruited personnel, who wish to seek recognition as trained Technicians in the Aviation Industry.
 
Course Objectives
 
This course is designed to train participants in three aspects; namely, to identify defects on composite structures, repair and perform wet and dry lay up of composite materials.
 
Course Structure

  • Fundamentals of composite materials
     
  • Key reinforcements and matrix materials
     
  • Identification of defects
     
  • Nondestructive evaluation
     
  • Tools for repair and inspections
     
  • Repair processes
     
  • Personal protection equipment
     
  • Handling, storage and documentation
     
    Student - Lecturer Ratio
     
    Theory:
     
    The ratio of Lecturer to Students is 1:32 for theory classes
     
    Practical:
     
    The ratio of Lecturer to Students is 1:16 for practical training.
     
    Learning And Teaching Methods
     
    All classes will be a mix of lectures and practical skills training
     
    Student Assessment
     
    WSQ courses are assessed by practical assessments
     
    Admission Requirements
     
    Ability to communicate in spoken and written English is required.
     
    Graduation Requirements
     
    Upon successful completion of courses. Participants will be awarded the 'Statement of Attainment for WSQ: Maintain Composite Structures' by Singapore Workforce Development Agency
     
    Course Duration
     
    The course consists of about 42hours of training including assessment. The duration of the course is spread over 6 days, from 0900 to 1700 hours each day.
     
    Attendance Requirements
     
    Students must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for all individual modules
     
    Course Fees
     
    The course fees is SGD2,675.00 per participant. (for Foreign Students living outside Singapore)

    Only Singapore residents or Singapore PR (Permanent Residents) taking the WSQ: Maintain Composite Structures short course can apply for up to 90% subsidy on course fees.
     
    The general eligibility criteria are listed as follows:
     
      1.
    Compaines are registered or incorporated in Singapore
      2.
    Supported cost components (such as Course fees) are fully sponsored by companies
      3.
    Trainees are employees who are either Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident only
      4.
    Trainee have achieved at least 75% attendance and have sat for all examinations if the course leads to certification
